Singur deadlock ends; Tata yet to take a decision
Kolkata, September 8, 2008 : Late Sunday night, the Singur deadlock crisis saw a breakthrough after West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi facilitated talks between the Left government led by Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee and Mamata Bannerjee.
Gandhi said that the uprooted or displaced farmers would be ensured adequate land in compensation.
