BSF thwarted infiltration bid in Punjab
Khemkaran, September 8, 2008 : The Border Security Force or BSF thwarted an infiltration bid in Punjab and seized an arms cache from Pakistan border, an official said on September 7.
The seizure made is the biggest arms haul in the recent past from near international border, said Deputy Inspector General, Jagir Singh. The consignment is believed to have been sent by chief of Babbar Khalsa International, an outlawed Sikh separatist outfit.
