Unauth colonies, price rise to figure in Delhi Assy session

New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Problems being faced in unauthorised colonies, price rise of edibles and law and order situation in the Capital will come up for discussion in the coming session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly to be held from September 10 to 12.

Slated on the agenda for the three - day session, the last before elections to the Delhi Legislative Assembly, are three short duration discussions; on 'problems regarding unauthorised colonies' on September 10; 'price rise of edibles in Capital' on September 11, and on the 'Law and Order situation in the Capital' on September 11, Speaker of the Assembly Prem Singh told reporters here today.

Chaudhry Prem Singh said notice for introduction and passing of two Government Bills - The Degradable Plastic Bag (Manufacture, Sale and Uses) and Garbage (Control) (Amendment) Bill, 2008 had been recieved by the Assembly Secretariat.

The House will, on the opening day of the 14th session of the State Assembly, pay homage to former MP and Metropolitan councillor Bharat Singh, former MLA Madan Lal Gaba and former member of the metropolitan council Anwar Ali Dehlavi.

The House will also condole tragic loss of human lives due to flood in Kosi river in Bihar.

Also to be discussed during session will are three private members resolutions by BJP MLA Sushil Chaudhry and BJP MLAs Vijay Jolly, Sahab Singh Chauhan and O P Babbar.
