Haryana: Three family members commit suicide

Jind, Sep 8: A 45-year old mother and her two daughters allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at Ajmer Basti in this town on Sep 7 night, police said. The deceased were identified as Bala Devi (45) and her two daughters Bhoati (16) and Sheetal (10).

Police said the woman and her four daughters took the poison around 2200 hrs last night and all of them were rushed to the Civil Hospital at Jind where Bala Devi and Bhoati died.

Later three other victims in a serious condition were taken to the PGI at Rohtak where another daughter, identified as Sheetal, died.

Police said the woman had strained relations with her husband.

Police recovered a suicide note from their house.

Police registered a case in this connection and was investigating.
