TADA court asks CBI to send back two '93 blast suspects

Mumbai, Sep 8 (UNI) In a setback to the CBI, a special court today ordered that the two people, who were deported from Nepal as suspects in the 1993 serial blast case, be sent back to their home country at government cost.

Special TADA court judge U D Mulla, discharged Riyaz Lone and Asfaq Ahmed and asked the CBI, the chief investigating agency of the serial blasts case, to send them to Nepal.

The duo was brought here on September 5 from Kathmandu and presented before the TADA court, which remanded them to judicial custody till today and asked CBI to establish their exact identity.

The CBI had earlier suspected that the two were Riyaz Khatri and Salim Gazi, who were wanted in the case.
