Suzlon Energy completes 51 MW project for ONGC

{image-suzlon-energy_02092008[1]_08092008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Sep 8: Suzlon Energy Ltd on Monday, Sep 8 said it has successfully completed its 51 MW wind power project for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation of India Ltd (ONGC).

The project, located at Motisindholi (Jakhau) in the Kutch district of Gujarat, features 34 units of Suzlon's S82-1.5 MW turbines. The world's fifth-largest wind turbine maker said in a statement that it will provide captive generation capacity for ONGC, powering centres at Ankleshwar, Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Vadodara.
