Punjab govt transfers 7 police officers

Chandigarh, Sep 8 (UNI) The Punjab government today issued new posting orders to two IPS and five PPS officers, an official release here stated.

Mr Arpit Shukla, IPS has been posted as SP, special branch of the intelligence wing at Chandigarh in place of Gautam Cheema, IPS who goes as SP (special staff) crime branch at the state headquarters.

Gurmail Singh has been posted as Assistant Commandant of the 2nd Punjab Commando Battalion in Bahadurgarh while Pushpinderpal Singh Gill will be the Assistant Commandant of 36th battalion of the Punjab Armed Police (PAP) and Bahadurgarh.

Harbaj Singh has been posted as SP, crime-II at Chandigarh while Jagjit Singh will be SP (hqrs) at Nawanshahar. Harinderjit Singh will be SP (operations) at Mohali.
