Police interviews on September 20 in J and K
Srinagar, Sep 8 (UNI) Interviews for the post of constable-operator in the Jammu and Kashmir police, postponed earlier because of agitation on Shri Amarnath Land issue, will now be held on September 20.
A notification, issued by the Police Headquarters (PHQ) here, the written test of candidates for the post of constable (operator) which was earlier scheduled for August 17, 2008 will now be held on September 20, 2008 simultaneously at Jammu and Srinagar.
It said venue of the examination remains Amar Singh College, Gogji Bagh, Srinagar for candidates belonging to Kashmir Province including districts of Leh and Kargil and University campus Jammu for candidates belonging to Jammu Division.
It may be recalled that besides interviews in different government departments, the Kashmir University and State Board postponed their examination in the month of August.
