Last rites of woman CRPF Asst Commander performed

Chhindwara, MP, Sep 8 (UNI) The last rites of a woman CRPF Assistant Commander, who was posted in Nigeria as a part of peace mission, was today performed with military honours at Juunardeo in this district.

Official sources said CRPF Assistant Commander Bharti Nagoria died in Nigeria on August 31. She was suffering from malaria. The body was brought to New Delhi after completing all formalities.

Hundreds of citizens were present during funeral. However, no representative of the state government was present.
