FICCI calls for win-win deal for all on Singur
New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry(FICCI) today welcomed breakthrough in the Singur issue by West Bengal Governor, urging all concerned to work out details of the plan for a quick resolution of the crisis and resumption of plant construction work.
Concerned "that the devil is in the details", FICCI said the outcome should satisfy all the four parties - the government, opposition, Tata and farmers - so that peace and normalcy could be sustained in the long run.
The apex chamber said ancillary and vendor development is very critical for employment generation, adding it looks forward to an all round settlement, which is a win-win for government, the opposition, the Tatas, the ancillary units, the vendors and the farmers.
