Pondy: Construction Labourers hold demonstrations

Puducherry, Sep 8: Construction labourers affiliated to the CITU on Monday, Sep 8 took out a procession and held a demonstration to press their demands. They were demanding among other things the inclusion of labourers as members in the construction workers welfare board, provision of Rs 1,000 as pension and house site pattas.

They took out a procession from Lawspet to the welfare office at Thattanchavady where the demonstration was held.
