Compile old records of astrological sciences: Dhumal

Shimla, Sep 8 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal emphasised the need to compile old records of the allied astrological sciences which are at the verge of extinction.

"The astrology has a numerous allied sciences like Vastu Shastra, Tantra Vidya and other similar disciplines, which are nearing extinction due to non-practice and reluctance of the coming generations to learn the same," Mr Dhumal said while addressing the Astrologers Conference organised by Trikal Jyotish and Paravigyan Anusandhan Sansthan (Tribal Astrology and Allied Sciences Research Institution) here last evening.

"The astrologers who have mastered such sciences need to share the same with next generation and teach them about such disciplines to preserve the age-old knowledge," he said.
