BJP to hold demos on power cut in TN

Chennai, Sep 8 (UNI) The BJP in Tamil Nadu will hold demonstrations from September 10 to 20 to condemn the inability of the government in tackling the problem of power shortage and demanding the resignation of State Electricity Minister.

In a release here today, BJP Tamil Nadu President L Ganesan said instead of taking efforts to supply power, the government was involved in efforts to give reasons for the power cut.

Lack of power supply will hit not only manufacturing but also several other sectors.

Hence, the BJP here decided to hold demonstrations, he said and sought the people's cooperation in this connection.
