Bilpower secures $30 mln electrification order in Ghana
New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Bilpower Ltd, an electrical laminations maker, today said it has received a erection, procurement and commissioning (EPC) order worth 30 million dollars for rural electrification in Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Region of Ghana.
It had signed a contract with the Ministry of Energy, Government of Ghana on September 3, 2008.
It is expected to complete the contract in about 18 months, the company said in a statement.
The contract is backed financially by Exim Bank of India in Brong Ahafo and Ashanti Region of Ghana in Transmission and Distribution Sector.
