3 militants killed, arms recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 8 (UNI) Three militants were killed by security forces in the frontier district of Kupwara, a police spokesman said today.

He said in encounter which took place between militants and the security forces in Karnah sector, three militants were killed.

A large cache of arms and ammunition including three AK-47 rifles, one Pistol, one 43 MM UBGL, 20 AK magazines, two Pistol magazines, 293 AK rounds, 45 Pistol rounds, one Compass and one GPS were recovered from the slain militants.
