Tributes paid to Lala Jagat Narayan

Ludhiana, Sep 7 (UNI) Founder of the Hind Samachar Group of newspapers, Lala Jagat Narayan was today remembered at a function organised to observe his 27th Shaheedi Diwas at his memorial near Ladhowal.

The function was oganised by the Orphan Organisation and Bhagwan Parsu Ram Sewak Sangh.

Lala Jagat Narayan was assassinated by terrorists.

Prominet among those who paid tributes include Local Bodies Minister Manoranjan Kalia, Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, Deputy Speaker Sat Pal Gosain, Anti Terrorist Front Chairman, Maninderjit Singh Bitta and Mr Vijay Chopra, Chief Editor, Hind Samachar Group.
