SC Commission on visit to Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 7 (UNI) The National Commission for Scheduled Castes headed by its Chairman Buta Singh will here ttomorrow to review the various welfare schemes being run for the upliftment of the Scheduled Castes in Haryana.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the state Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes said that the Commission would hold a meeting with the Haryana Social Welfare Minister, the Chief Secretary and senior officers of the state to discuss the implementation of safeguard and development programmes for Scheduled Castes.

He said that the Commission would meet the representatives of the Scheduled Caste Associations of the state .
