MP to introduce Sixth Pay Commission from Sept1 : CM
Indore, Sep 7 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said that the recommendation of Sixth Pay Commission would be implemented in the state from September one.
Talking to mediapersons here ahead of his 'Jan Ashriwad Yatra' from the famous Omkareshwar pilgrim, Mr Chouhan said the state government employees would receive their salary from October according to the recommendation of the Pay Commission.
The Chief Minister claimed that the amount of development work done in the state during the BJP government's tenure was not done by the Congress in the past fifty years.
''Madhya Pradesh will be placed in the category of the developed state if the BJP retains power.'',Mr Chouhan said.
He alleged that the Centre was reluctant in alloting the grant earmarked for the state.
About the status of power generation in the state, Mr Chouhan also castigated the Centre for providing inadequate electricty.
