Jan Sanskriti Manch's film festival in Lucknow from Sep 13

Lucknow, Sep 7 (UNI) To raise mass awareness through one of the evergeen and effective modes of communication 'Cinema,' Jan Sanskriti Manch would organise a two-day Film Festival-2008 on beginning September 13.

Providing information, Jan Sanskriti Manch organiser Kaushal Kishore said the programme would be held at Balmiki Rangshala (Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy) in the Gomti Nagar area.

The festival would screen some popular and message conveying national and internationsl flicks like Naseem, live with the slate, living of Jogimara and others.

Besides, every kids favourite Charlie Chaplin would be shown, Mr Kishore informed.

Open the Door -- a collection of several small films focused on children, would also be a part of the Film Festival.

These short movies move around the dreams, experiences and ambitions of children that are beyond boundries of the nations.

As visual medium leaves a great impact on the minds of people, only movies that carry certain messages should be screened, the Manch organiser added.
