826 load carriers arrive in Kahsmir, 859 left

Srinagar, Sep 7 (UNI) As many as 1685 load carriers with essentials departed and entered the Valley during the last 24 hours.

Of these, 108 carried rice, 50 flour, 35 sugar, 12 chicken, 43 fresh fruit, 7 sheep, 53 diesel, 25 kerosene oil, 30 petrol, 25 LPG, 3 milk, 331 other commodities and 24 empty tankers, left from the Valley.

Stating this here today, the spokesman for the divisional administration said that as many as 1685 load carriers plied to and fro on the National Highway during last 24 hours. He said as many as, 859 load carriers left the Valley in the same period. Of these, 225 carried fresh fruit, 35 vegetables and 89 other commodities. Also 510 empty tankers left the Valley after off loading fuel here.
