40 Kg poppy husk seized in Punjab

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 7 (UNI) The Special Narcotics cell of the Punjab Police seized 40 Kg poppy husk near Bhagwanpur village in the district last.

Police sources today said that Bhag Singh, a resident of Bassi village near Nurpur Bed in Ropar district, Amrik Singh, a resident of Tolley Majra near Kharar, Rachpal Singh of Gadhera and Dattam Ram of Railon who were transporting the poppy husk in a tractor-trolley when they were nabbed.

All the four were later arrested under NDPS Act.
