2 lax constables jailed after undertrial escapes
Gonda, Sep 7 (UNI) Two constables were today suspended and sent to jail after an undertrial escaped from their custody here.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Prasahant Kumar said Suraj Singh absconded while being taken to district hospital under the custody of Parasnath and Amarnath.
The duo had been put behind bars for dereliction of duty, the SP added.
Meanwhile, a search to nab Suraj was on.
