Vehicle lifter-cum-chain snatcher nabbed

Hyderabad, Sep 6 (UNI) City police apprehended a notorious vehicle lifter-cum-chain snatcher yesterday while he was moving on a stolen Hero Honda and also seized five Hero Honda Motorcycles and eight tolas of Gold Ornaments, all worth Rs three lakhs.

Police said the accused identified as Mohd Azeem who had lifted five Hero Honda Motorcycles and was involved in several chain snatching incidents at various places in the city, was on bail and many non-bailable warrants were pending against him.

Police also arrested another offender Syed Abdul Sattar moving under suspicious circumstances at Begumbazar Chatri with stolen gold ornaments weighing about five tolas and pearl chain, all worth Rs 70,000.
