Two killed in road mishaps

Guwahati, Sept 06 (UNI) Two persons, including a minor, were killed in separate road accidents in the state's capital city since late last night.

Police said Rashiul Islam, a 14-year-old boy, was killed when he was hit by an Army-owned crane near Six Mile area of the city at about 12 noon today.

The driver was immediately arrested.

In a hit-and-run incident late last night, a mentally ill woman was killed at GS Road. Her body was found lying on the road, while the car managed to flee.
