Tremor shakes Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Sep 6 (UNI) An earthquake of mild intensity shook Chandigarh and its adjoining areas this morning.

The tremor, which was felt around 1115 hrs, lasted few seconds.

The quake also struck parts of Himachal Pradesh, including Dharamshala, Kangra and Chamba.

However, there was no immediate report of casualties or damage to property.
