Select cotton flat on small demand

Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) Select cotton prices were steady today on moderate demand from spinners and exporters in the wake of sufficient stocks supplies from domestic centres like Gujarat and some northern regions, traders said.

Following are the spot cotton rates per candy (335.62 kg) in Rupees: Bengal Desi RG: 27,300, Bengal Desi SG: 27,700, V-797: 22,500, Karnataka Jayadhar: 22,500, Y-1: 24,700, Punjab J-34: 26,300, NHH-44: 25,800, LRA: 27,300, H-4: 28,200, S-6-A grade: 29,000, Bunny/Brahma: 29,000, MCU-5: 29,500, DCH-32: 32,500, Hedge contract: 27,500.
