Moderate earth quake rocks Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 6 (UNI) An earthquake of moderate intensity rocked Srinagar and its adjoining areas today.

The tremors, which were felt at 1117 hrs, forced people to rush out of their homes in panic.

Initial reports said their was no loss of life or damage to property.

Meanwhile, details about its epicenter were still awaited.

This was the second time during the past 24 hours that tremors struck Srinagar. Yesterday 5.5 magnitude earthquake with epicenter in Afganistan-Pakistan border was felt at 1032 hrs.
