K'taka govt forms Coastal area development Authority
Bangalore, Sep 6 (UNI) Karnataka Government today announced formation of Coastal Area Development Authority by appointing former Legislator Nagaraj Shetty as its Chairman.
Other Members of the Authority includes Nalinakumar Katil, Ms Sulochana Bhat, Gujjadi Prabhakar Nayak, Ravindranath G Hegade, Umesh Nagappa Nayak, Vittal Dehimane, Industry and Commerce Department Commissioner, State Infrastructure Development and Finance Commission Managing Director, Tourism Department Director, Port and Inland Transport Department Director, Udupi and Uttara Kannada District Deputy Commissioners, Dakshina Kannada District, Uttara Kannada District and Udupi District Public Works Department Executive Engineer, Mangalore, udupi, Karwar City Development Authority Presidents, Mangalore Muncipal Corporation Mayor, Uduipi Town Muncipality President, Bhatkal Town Muncipality President.
According to a release from the CM's Secretariat Dakshina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner will be the convenor of the Authority.
