Juki opens office in Kerala

Kochi, Sep 6 (UNI) Juki India Private Limited, the wholly-owned subsidary of JUKI Singapor, has opened its branch office here to tap the huge potential of the apparel industry in Kerala.

Speaking to reporters here last night, Company Managing Director Katsumi Nihei said ''Kerala has high growth potential in the apparel industry and we have plans to garner 15 per cent market share of the products and services provided to the apparel industry in the State.'' The company provides electronic assembly and apparel equipments, industrial sewing machines, surface mount technology (SMT) systems, household sewing machines and services like assisting apparel manufacturers in increasing productivity, developing highly efficient production systems and improving work environment.

'' India is achieving high economic growth through the efforts of the people and considering the potential for growth of garment industries, we are moving forward with reinforcemnt of the sales and technical service organizations in the country,'' he said.

The company has a warehouse in Chennai and offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Tirupur, Ludhiana and Mumbai.
