Get approval for transfer of flats, MHADA tells flat owners
Mumbai, Sep 6 (UNI) Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) chairman Amarjitsingh Manhas has asked the original flat owners and the transferees to secure its approval and complete the formalities of the transfer of their flats.
MHADA has 56 colonies in the city, of which 3,701 buildings are occupied by over one lakh people.
Out of these, the proper transfer of 1,964 buildings has not been done, in which 66,000 people are staying.
Yesterday, a decision was taken to give another chance to these people to get the proper approval for the transfer of the flats from MHADA, a release said here today.
