Four arrested for attempting to extort money
Kancheepuram, Sept 6 (UNI) Four persons were arrested when they attempted to extort money from lorry drivers at Thimmavaram near Chengalpattu in this district of Tamil Nadu today.
Police said acting on a tip-off a police team rushed to the spot and nabbed the accused.
They were identified as Netaji(26) Govindasamy25), Kumar(25) and Rangan(34).
Efforts were on trace the remaining four accused, police added.
