CCB unearths illegal liquor unit, 10 arrested
Bangalore, Sep 6 (UNI)Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths today unearthed an illegal liquor manufacturing unit, seized 30 lakh worth duplicate liquor and machinery and arrested ten people in this connection.
City Joint Police Commissioner Gopal Hosur said acting on a tip-off, raids were conducted on unit at Anekal and godowns in farm houses an the city outskirts.
Duplicate labels of large selling brands, machinery used for bottling the liquor and corcking, 3000 litres of spirit and two vehicles used for transporting the liquors were seized, Mr Hosur added.
