AASU stages stir against Centre over Assam flood
Guwahati, Sep 6 (UNI) The All Assam Students Union(AASU) today launched a statewide Satyagraha for the alleged discriminatory attitude of the Prime Minister to wards the Assam flood situation.
AASU adviser Dr Samujjla Kr Bhattacharrya told newspersons that the agitation was in protest against the step motherly attitude of the Centre to the flood situation in the state.
The students' body alleged that while flood in Bihar got maximum priority, Assam was neglected.
