Wild bear attacks woman in Poonch

Jammu, Sep 5 (UNI) A woman got critically injured when she was attacked by a wild bear in the forest area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, police sources here today said.

''The woman identified as Aisha Begum, resident of Baila Mandi was attacked by a wild bear around 1000 hrs,'' police sources said.

She was rescued by her relatives and was immediately shifted to the district hospital Poonch. Later, she was referred to the Government Medical College Jammu, they said.
