US-based Jazz troupe to perform in Ahmedabad tomorrow

Ahmedabad, Sep 5 (UNI) The US-based Eli Yamin Jazz Trio, consisting of Eli Yamin (pianist and composer), Ari Roland (bass) and Adrian D'Souza (drums), will perform a special concert here tomorrow to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the American Corner here.

The concert is sponsored by the American Center in Mumbai in association with the Daniel Pearl Foundation-India, Goa Kala Academy and Radio Mirchi.

A similar concert will be held at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir in Goa on September 8, to honour the memory of Daniel Pearl, an American journalist and musician.

The Goa concert is a precursor to the Seventh Daniel Pearl World Music Days, an annual event held in honour of Wall Street reporter who was slained in Pakistan on January 30, 2002.
