Teachers stage mock suicide on 'Teachers Day'

Indore, Sep 5 (UNI) In a unique protest, teachers staged mock suicide by hanging on the 'Teachers Day' here today to press their demands.

In front of the Mahatama Gandhi statue, three nooses were set and the teachers lined up and put the noose on their neck.

Lady teachers also joined in the protest.

Teachers also carried in their hands placards with the slogan 'Adhikar nahi to phansi de do'.

The protest was staged Madhya Pradesh Adhyapak Sangh.
