Punjab assembly hails shooter Abhinav Bindra
Chandigarh, Sep 5 (UNI) The Punjab assembly today hailed the gold medal winning feat of shooter Abhinav Bindra in the 50-metre air rifle event at Beijing Olympics.
A resolution complimenting the ace Indian shooter was moved by Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia and was adopted unanmiously by the House during Zero Hour.
The House also hailed the bronze medal feats of Vijender Singh in boxing and Sushil Kumar in freestyle wrestling at the Olympics.
