More rains in days to come: Met dept

New Delhi, Sep 5 (UNI) After a lull of nearly a week, rains are likely to stage a comeback from Sunday onwards in some parts of the country, according to the Met department.

Rainfall is likely over north peninsula and adjoining central parts of the country due to low pressure area forming over north-west and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal.

This could lead to widespread rainfall along the west coast and with increased intensity over the latter part of the week.

A fair amount of rainfall is also likely to be seen over north-eastern states.

However, decreased rains could also be seen over Tamil Nadu and north-west India, the weathermen added.
