Fraud cases against two doctors

Chhatarpur, MP, Sep 5 (UNI) A fraud case has been registered against Chhatarpur Chief Medical and Health Officer O P Gautam for appointing a fake degree holder doctor in the district hospital, official sources said today.

Dr Prem Kumar Dubey, who was allegedly appointed on the basis of a fake degree, has been arrested, while Dr Gautam was absconding.

A girl child had died after being administered vaccine by Dr Dubey on January 24. Complaints had been pouring against him since then but he was allegedly being shielded by Dr Gautam.

Fraud cases were registered against both following investigation.

Collector Umakant Umrao has ordered sealing of the CMHO's office to inquire into the appointments made by him.
