Fake stamps, revenue tickets seized; 2 nabbed
Lucknow, Sep 5 (UNI) Police today seized fake stamps and revenue tickets worth over Rs eight lakh and arrested two men in this regard from the Shivkuti area of Allahabad.
Mohammad Yusuf and Israr Hussain were intercepted near a crossing on account of suspicion by the sleuths, police said.
However, both of them failed in their attempt to escape.
Fake stamps and revenue tickets were recovered from them.
On interrogation, they confessed their crime and disclosed that they were residents of Allahabad.
Yusuf had been behind the bars for running the business of fake stamps earlier too, while Hussain's elder brother was also nabbed once over the same.
