Crucial talks to resolve Singur tangle end at Raj Bhawan
Kolkata, Sep 5 (UNI) The crucial conciliatory meeting, convened by West Bengal Governor Gopalkrishna Gandhi to unwind the Nano tangle at Singur, ended at Raj Bhawan this evening with Opposition leader Partha Chatterjee opining that it was in the right direction.
The meeting will again take place tomorrow at 1100 hours.
After the meeting, which lasted for three hours, Mr Chatterjee said, ''We are heading towards a solution. Our discussion regarding land is on.'' Asked whether he was satisfied with the meeting, Mr Chatterjee stated that the discussion was in the right direction.
''I will not divulge the details right now and will report to party supremo Mamata Banerjee,'' he added.
The state government representatives, however, refused to say anything about the progress of the meeting.
