Court dismisses case against Union Minister
Darbhanga, Sep 5(UNI) A local court today dismissed a case against Union Minister Mohammad Ali Asraf Fatmi lodged in connection with alleged violation of model code of conduct during the November 2005 Assembly Elections.
Judicial Magistrate Vijay Kumar Srivastav dismissed the case against the minister of state for Human Resources after hearing arguments of both sides.
The case against Mohammad Fatmi was registered at Laheria Sarai police station on the directive of election observer Sanjay Kaul, who had seized the minister's vehicle which was being used for campaigning after the expiry of the stipulated time.
Mohammad Fatmi was on bail in connection with the case.
