Couple sentenced to 7 yrs imprisonment

Satna, MP, Sep 5 (UNI) A Sessions Court has sentenced a couple to seven years' imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 for an attempt to murder.

Additional Sessions Judge Suresh Kumar Jain awarded the punishment yesterday to Ravendra Vishwakarma and his wife Munni Devi for assaulting Chudamani with an axe on July 25, 2004 during a dispute over irrigating a farm at a village in this district.
