Vinko Auto to invest Rs 10 crore under its expansion plan

Jalandhar, Sep 4 (UNI) Vinko Auto Industries Limited (VAIL), manufacturer and exporters of "Alaska" V Belts and Hoses, is planning install another plant at Raowali in this district.

Vinay Kumar Gupta, Director, said that present turnover of the company was Rs 35 crore including the export share of 40 per cent and after establishing another plant company was expecting to achieve turnover of Rs 100 crore in the coming few years.

Vinko has recently bagged "National Award 2007" for its outstanding quality products and the company had won "Special Export Award" from All India Industries Association(AIRIA) 2006-07, sixth times in a row, said Aney Gupta, Director (Quality).

The company was exporting its products to more than 35 countries like USA, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Brazil and South Africa, he added.
