Station master, gateman suspended for laxity
Gorakhpur, Sep 4 (UNI) A station master and a gateman were today suspended for dereliction of duty over an accident on Tuesday, in which one person was killed near Goldanganj railway station here.
According to railway spokesperson, eastern railway general manager U C Duadasshreni visited the accident site yesterday and passed the suspension orders.
Meanwhile, a team investigating the incident today started it's probe at Chapra junction.
On Tuesday, a 1061 Pawan Express hit a truck near Goldanganj railway station killing a man and grievously injuring the other two truck-borne.
