Police recovers cache of firearms in Nawada

Nawada, Sept 04 (UNI) Bihar police today recovered cahce of firearms from a criminal hideout near Mundakchak village under Sitamarhi police station in the distrct.

Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Ajay Kumar here said acting on tip off, a team of Bihar police raided the hideout of proscribed Maoists near the village and recovered three can bombs, 12 detonators 50 gelatine sticks, one country made pistol, one rifle and coils of fuse wire.

An FIR had been lodged in the local police station, Mr Kumar said adding raids were on to nab the insurgents.
