Nissan to launch nine products by 2012
New Delhi, Sept 4 (UNI) Nissan Motors today said it will launch nine products in the country to strengthen its presence in one of the fastest growing markets of the world.
''We will launch nine new products in India by 2012 in order to strengthen our presence in the country and also offer the customer a wide range of products to cater to their needs,'' Nissan Motors India Ltd MD Shohei Kimura said at the SIAM annual convention in the capital here.
At present, the company offers two products for the indigenous customers.
Nissan is also building a 4,00,000-capacity plant in Chennai with partner Renault and has plans to source nine new products from India, including its ULC (Ultra Low Cost) and the next generation Micra that will be based off its new A-platform.
