Liam Gallagher wants to live with Lennon's 'spirit' in the Big Apple

London, Sept 4 : Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher is planning to shift base to the same apartment block where his idol John Lennon lived once, for he wants to "feel close to the late Beatles' spirit living there."

Gallagher's pals have revealed that the 35-year-old singer wants to live inside the famous Dakota building where Lennon lived throughout the Seventies until his death in 1980.

"Liam has always been fascinated with everything about John Lennon and has long fantasised about having an apartment in the Dakota like he did," The Daily Express quoted a pal, as saying.

The pal added: "He loves that part of New York and feels he'd be very much at home there."

Gallagher's fascination with the late Beatle is no secret. He named his first son Lennon and has even claimed to have encountered John's ghost.

"Liam would feel close to Lennon's spirit living there," added the friend.
