Arun Jaitley to visit Jammu on Sep 7

Jammu, Sep 4: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary and the election in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Arun Jaitley would visit here on Sep 7 to review the post situation after two-month long agitation over Amarnath land row and also to hold party meetings to discuss policy matters for upcoming Assembly elections.

'Mr Jaitley will hold the discussions with Party senior leaders and core group committee to discuss plans for the ensuing Assembly elections,' party sources told. The sources further added that BJP Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir, former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Shanta Kumar and co-incharge of state, R P Singh would address a meeting of the party state office bearers on September 6 prior to Mr Jaitley's visit.
