Governor greets teachers on eve of Teachersday

Hyderabad, Sep 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari today greeted the teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Day tomorrow.

In a message he said, ''I convey my warm and cordial greetings'' to all the teachers on the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishna, former President of India.'' The destiny of our Nation is shaped in the classrooms. Therefore, the teachers have a responsible role to play in building the nation.

''It is time we realise the importance of the teachers and we should make an effort to attract the best talent to the teaching profession. In short, they are the creators of the future assets of the country. I once again convey by best wishes to the architects of the Nation,'' he said.
